  • Do you really think banning guns will make it harder for bad people to get guns? If guns were banned, it would be harder for anyone to get a gun. Pot is illegal. It's easier to get than alcohol. Not where I live.

  • Hi there, Anti gun guy here. Or, more specifically, anti hand gun guy. Of course an armed attacker has the advantage over an armed intended victim. The statistics prove this. When a death occurs from a firearm, the chances are that a murder has occured and not a justifiable homicide.

  • I'd strongly prefer for there to be no criminals, as in places where handguns are much more scarce and/or restricted, other very frightening weapons are used much more.

  • Relatively few Americans own hand guns. Fewer still want to carry them in pubilc. We will never be a society of citizens walking around with guns.

  • If handguns were illegal, then the numbers of handguns available would dwindle. ...On the other hand, criminals might be more emboldened to use guns, if they know most people don't have guns.

  • Of course you can stop crazy people from having hand guns. We managed to stop crazy people from having machine guns and other weapons under Title II of the National Firearms Act. No one will be killed today by a whacko with a machine gun.

  • Was he a criminal? I mean the moment before he started shooting, was he a criminal? The problem, of course, is hand guns. #1 murder weapon in the US, by far, year after year. And hand guns are so easy to get and carry around.
